I am a survivor of ovarian cancer and a near-fatal car accident that left her in a coma for three days and bedridden for a year. The doctors that treated her after the accident did not think I would ever walk again. After having been restricted to a wheelchair for four years, I slowly but surely regained my ability to walk.
Since these life-changing incidents, I have learned to practice my patient and started to write a book. The last Sat. Aug. 15th was my mother’s 9th memorial day and one of my dogs, Oro’s 9 years old birthday and my third book, Healthy Happy Pooch, a book of “Wisdom and Homemade Recipes to Give Your Dog a Healthy, Happy Life” publishing party at my restaurant Seed Kitchen in Venice, California.
Healthy Happy Pooch is endorsed by Neil D. Barnard MD, who wrote the foreword, and veterinarians Sally Lane DVM and Armaiti May DVM. Animal nutritionist Susan Lauten, PhD has approved her book. The following is a review from Amazon,
“Sanae Suzuki has written an engaging book that weaves her own personal story of overcoming serious health challenges while she gives the reader information on how to create the healthiest, happiest life for their dog. The book is chock-full of nutritional advice, recipes for homemade meals, the use of flower essences, canine massage, how to communicate with your dog and lots more! A great read and a ton of information. You can tell from Sanae’s story that this woman really walks her talk! It’s an inspiring book and fun to read.”
Healthy Happy Pooch means so much to me as I raised over 20 dogs in my life so far. I thank so much for people who came to Healthy Happy Pooch publishing party last Sat. I think we all had a good time including all the dogs were there.
I offer a mini lecture about how to feed Healthy Homemade dog food.
I thank Madeline Karpel and Donald E. Karpel for just coming by and purchased the book while they their busy schedule. Also, Sheri Sherri Noel, Jose Noel with Sebastian and Sky, Amy Gordon, Darshana Thacker, Brian Wendel, Lynn Medlin, Dan How, Eve Vacheresse, Tammy and her friends and four legged family, Tim, Bea & Lucky, Natsu Hasegawa, Yoko Ano, Rin Colabucci, Masano Seno and Ozawa Yoshie and more.
